When Pharrell released his album cover for 'Girl,' many were quick to point out the lack of dark-skinned women present on the actual cover.




However, others -specifically black men - have been quick to shut down, (in the wittiest/nastiest way possible) the many black women who immediately took offense to the lack of diversity Pharrell's 'Girl' album cover showed:






Aware of the controversy surrounding his ‘Girl’ album cover, Pharrell called into Power 105.1 to speak with the Breakfast club in order to clear up some misconceptions, and claims suggesting he does not support, nor does not care to represent black women. You can watch the interview below:
