Skin-Lightening Fanatic, Dencia, Calls Oscar Winner, Lupita Nyong’o, a Slave

When we first blogged about a new skin bleaching cream called 'Whitenicious' created by African model, Dencia, we were, like many others, appalled by the name and

purpose of the skin lightening cream. If that wasn't disgraceful enough, however, Denicia recently directed some very nasty words toward Oscar winner and beloved starlet, Lupita Nyong’o.

During the annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon, Lupita shared a heartfelt letter, -  a personal letter a fan had written to her about wanting to purchase Dencia’s, 'Whitenicious' cream to become lighter. (see the video below)

“Dear Lupita, I think you’re really lucky to be this Black but yet this successful in Hollywood overnight. I was just about to buy Dencia’s Whitenicious cream to lighten my skin when you appeared on the world map and saved me.’” - from a fan

Although inspirational to most, after Lupita gave an inspiring speech about her own skin color, and for being the sole reason a fan decided not to purchase Dencia’s 'Whitenicious' cream, the angry model took to twitter to call out the 12 Years a Slave actress:

Again I don’t watch movies unless it’s Comedy or Romance I won’t even watch anything w title “Slaves” I studied enuff in my history class

And she forgot to tell the non existent black girl that ur skin color doesn’t take u to hollywood hard work does,then again her color did.

and the 'Whitenicious' creator, didn't stop there:

If sales are going so well for 'Whitenicious', and Dencia is able attend countless well-established events such as the Oscars after party as she claims, then why the need to constantly reply to the so called "haters" all the time? Jus' sayin.
