After Beyonce released a music video for her 3rd single, 'Partition,' it was no surprise many were quick to criticize the video due its daring and sex-driven imagery.
There were literally hundreds of comments
labelling Beyonce a slut, a whore, and a prostitute. While others went as
far as to suggest that Beyonce's husband, Jay Z, is now pimping his wife to the
world. Here are just a few reactions that pretty much sums up the craziness
that erupted after the music video for Partition was released:
A woman calling another woman a whore for exploring her
own sexuality = incredibly sad.
This person is beyond delusional and obviously very sexist. Men do the same thing, sometimes much worst too, and are never called out for it - & if they do get called out, everyone just pretends like it's a non issue! Honestly, I have a strange feeling this one still lives in his mother's basement...
Now which sane parent would actually allow their child to listen to Beyonce - let alone any of the music that's out today? Okay some do, but regardless, the responsibility still lies with the parent, not Beyonce!
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to
bring up God...
So, because Beyonce’s a mother now she should stop
expressing herself, sexually? And if she continues to wear revealing clothes
and dance provocatively Blue Ivy will hate her in the futue?! WTF… I feel like I
just stepped into a time machine that set me back to a time when women (still
are, from the looks of it) were treated as second citizens.
This man is clearly in over his
head - either that or just drunk..
Isn't it crazy how one music video can create such
a sexist/misogynistic reaction?
Of course, there's a lot more sexist commentary regarding
Beyonce's 'Partition', but this is pretty much a summery of what most had to
say about the singer and her new provocative music video and overall image. If
you want to see more, I hesitantly suggest paying a visit to youtube..but brace
yourself, the comments over there are ridiculous and downright crazy
as you can tell from the post.
